Customer Support Engineer (fmd)

For our Munich office we are looking for a customer support engineer (f/m/d) in full time.

Responsibilities

• Install and service cryostats at customers sites
• Provide training and documentation for our products in a clear professional and customer-friendly manner
• Handle enquiries and solve technical problems via phone email and on-site visits maintaining composure and professionalism under pressure
• Act as a point of contact to customers ensuring issues are resolved efficiently while preserving positive relationships
• Report technical and organizational issues as well as opportunities across the teams (engineering production product sales)
• Continuously monitor and improve customer satisfaction balancing technical excellence with diplomatic communications

Requirements

• You successfully completed a university degree (Master or PhD) in physics quantum science & technology or similar
• Experience with cryogenic equipment is beneficial
• Willingness to travel internationally and manage extended hours when required
• High emotional intelligence and good diplomatic skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Eagerness to learn about our products to address customer problems effectively
• Ability to identify malfunctions analyze root cause and implement solutions quickly and calmly
• Independent patient and confident in your work with strong prioritization skills
• Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and adapt to changing schedules as needed
• Problem solving skills under pressure with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to stay calm focused and effective under pressure and in high-stakes situations
