Customer Support (f/m/d) – 24/7 – German & English Proficiency

Join IONOS, the leading European provider of cloud infrastructure, cloud services, and hosting services, as a Customer Support Specialist. In this role you will work on a 24/7 shift basis, providing technical support to our global customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 24/7 technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
  • Apply IT service management principles to resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot complex technical problems.
  • Document solutions and knowledge in Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to databases, networks, Linux, and storage.
  • Participate in on‑call rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
  • Strong knowledge of IT service management principles and practices.
  • Hands‑on experience with databases, networks, Linux, and storage.
  • Previous technical support experience, preferably in a 24/7 environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and customer‑service skills.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and participate in on‑call rotations.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Kubernetes or other containerization technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud‑based infrastructure and services.
  • ITIL or related certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.

Languages

  • Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken).

Security Clearance

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Sicherheitsüberprüfung (security clearance) as a condition of employment.
