To further support the strong business growth of Advion Interchim Scientific, we are currently seeking a

Position Purpose

The Sales Specialist will be responsible for successfully selling the mass spec and liquid chromatography purification instruments along with preparative columns and analytical consumables. The Sales Specialist will need to cover the complete sales process from the first lead contact to closing the order.

We expect to hire a highly motivated, social and creative person with a positive attitude.

Principal Responsibilities

• Visiting clients for personal discussions and seminar presentations
• Achieving or exceeding annual sales targets
• Achieving highest possible Average Selling Prices
• Conducting instrument demonstrations and workshops when necessary
• Developing and enlarging the analytical market share (HPLC, SPE, etc.)
• Identifying new prospects
• Virtual visits via online communication tools if appropriate
• Explaining to clients the uniqueness and added value of our technology against competitors
• Convince local scientists to spread the message
• Continuous follow up on sales leads by phone calls, emails and direct sales visits
• Work closely with the product management, support and marketing teams

Additional Responsibilities

• Attending exhibitions on conferences and trade shows to help with lead generation
• Assistance with products improvements and optimization

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry or related field
• A good knowledge of analytical chemistry is preferred
• Ideally 5 years sales experience
• Hands‑on experience with liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry preferred
• Excellent communication and presenting skills, self‑driven and ambitious character
• Native German speaker, business‑fluent in English language
• Willingness to travel >50%
• Position is home‑office based, located in the South‑West Territory (ideally close to Mannheim or Heidelberg)
• Ability to work independently
• Intrinsically motivated
