As we expand our presence in the technology and security space, we are launching our Cybersecurity Internship Program to support aspiring security professionals in developing hands-on industry skills. Internship Overview As a Cybersecurity Intern at HireShire, you will gain practical exposure to real-world security operations while building a strong foundation in cyber defence techniques. This internship is designed for beginners and early-career learners who want to explore cybersecurity through guided mentorship, live learning, and project-based tasks. No formal work experience is required, just curiosity and commitment to learn. Key Responsibilities Assist with monitoring systems for potential security threats and vulnerabilities.Learn to conduct basic vulnerability assessments and security testing activities.Support network security analysis using tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, and Burp Suite.Participate in malware analysis, phishing detection, and incident response simulations.Document findings and help create basic security reports and risk summaries.Gain experience with security frameworks, compliance awareness, and safe computing practices.Collaborate with mentors and peers on cybersecurity case studies and live projects.Eligibility & RequirementsStudents or recent graduates in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related fields.Basic understanding of networking concepts and operating systems (Linux knowledge is beneficial).Interest in cybersecurity tools, ethical hacking, or digital forensics.Strong willingness to learn and grow in a technical environment.Good communication skills and attention to detail. Nice to Have (Optional Skills) Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as Kali Linux, Metasploit, or Wireshark.Basic knowledge of networking protocols, encryption, or web security.Previous exposure to labs, certifications, or cybersecurity coursework.
