We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Professional to take ownership of network security governance for our Grid Software organization on a global scale. In this critical role, you will ensure that our network infrastructure remains resilient against evolving cyber threats while meeting business requirements and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. Reporting directly to the Cybersecurity Officer of the business unit, you will serve as the global authority on network security governance and the related risk management.

How You’ll Make An Impact
- Network Security Governance: Develop, maintain, and enforce network‑specific policies, guidelines and processes to ensure secure operations aligned with Siemens governance requirements, applicable regulations and the evolving threat landscape.
- Global Governance Rollout: Coordinate and drive worldwide implementation of network security governance frameworks across the Grid Software organization, including partnering with local stakeholders, monitoring progress and reporting status to senior management.
- Audit Support and Compliance Management: Conduct internal audits, provide subject‑matter expertise for external audits, and manage resolution of audit findings in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Own the end‑to‑end risk management process for all internal and special‑purpose networks, including identification, assessment, prioritisation and mitigation of network‑related cyber risks.
- Vulnerability and Incident Coordination: Manage remediation of network vulnerabilities and oversee response to network‑related security incidents in close collaboration with the Cybersecurity Officer.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other governance functions to continuously improve and optimise the governance framework and process landscape within your area of responsibility.
What You’ll Win Us Over – Qualifications
Education
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or related field; OR Bachelor’s degree with additional relevant professional experience (e.g., in regulated environments or critical infrastructure).
Experience & Skills
- Long‑term professional experience in Network Security and Information Security Governance.
- Strong knowledge of network security principles with hands‑on experience implementing requirements from regulations and standards such as ISO 27001, IEC 62443, and NERC CIP.
- Governance Implementation: Proven track record of successfully rolling out governance frameworks across large, complex organisations with solid project‑management skills.
- Experience with requirements gathering and specification for IT systems, as well as implementing operational processes and complex transformation programs.

- Self‑driven and independent working style with the ability to take initiative.
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and implement change in complex organisational environments.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all organisational levels, including senior management.
- Solution‑oriented, proactive and highly organised approach to work.
- Languages: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
