Overview
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist 2 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of the (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high‑growth markets.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement technical controls and configuration settings as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Support System Engineering efforts and help with design choices and product selections.
- Perform system builds involving Microsoft Windows Server, RHEL, WSUS, Hyper‑V, VMware, Cisco, Juniper, SQL Server, and other enterprise applications.
- Work closely with team members, vendors, and government customers.
- Implement and maintain DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) on IT and OT systems.
- Assist in development and verification of documentation for DoD RMF assessment and authorization.
- Develop detailed system diagrams and information flow diagrams.
- Conduct vulnerability scanning and document system vulnerabilities using tools such as Evaluate‑STIG, SCAP compliance checker, STIG Viewer, eMASSter.
- Participate in continuous improvement of organizational and client cybersecurity posture.
Qualifications
Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must be U.S. citizens. ACTIVE SECRET Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI is required.
Education
- 0+ Years of Experience with a Master’s Degree in IT, Risk Management, Cybersecurity.
- 2+ Years of Experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Risk Management, Cybersecurity.
- 6+ Years of Experience with an Associate’s Degree in IT, Risk Management, Cybersecurity.
- 8+ Years with a High School Diploma.
Required Progressive Experience
- Experience working with industry and government agencies on platform and system design, implementing cybersecurity in industrial control systems.
- Proficiency with ACAS and HBSS, mitigation strategies.
- Developing policies and procedures for information systems security.
- Assessment, mitigation, and closure of network vulnerabilities and vulnerability management eMASS.
- Establishing, managing, and tracking Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M); applying STIGs to servers, databases, and applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot control network components.
- Excellent understanding of DoD RMF life cycle and NIST 800‑53 controls implementation.
- Awareness of NIST SP 800‑82, ISO, UFC 4‑010‑06, CYBERCOM TASKORDS.
- Operating knowledge of operational control systems and security assessment tools.
- Familiarity with DoDIN CCRI/CCORI and CYBERCOM TASKORDS and various industry products.
Required Certifications
- CASP, CE, CISSP, ISSAP, ISSEP, CSSLP, CISA, CISM, GCED, GCIH.

- Time management and organization skills to meet deadlines.
- Strong MS Office, AutoCAD, Cameo, Visio skills.
