Redstone Commodity Search are working with a major metal’s trading house looking to hire a Dam Engineering Lead to join the team in Spain.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of the plant's water dam and waste disposal systems, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Implement and monitor cost control measures to ensure optimal financial efficiency while supervising and managing the maintenance of equipment to ensure continuous, reliable operation.
• Plan and organize the activities related to the management of the plant’s dams and sterile deposits.
• Coordinate and allocate human and material resources to support the efficient functioning of the plant’s water dam and waste systems.
• Role Reports to Refinery Production manager

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in Geotechnics (mining engineers, public works, geologists, etc) with strong technical knowledge.
• Strong experience in resource management and multidisciplinary teams.
• Operations experience is a big advantage.
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Relocation to Northwest Spain is required, the company can assist with this.
