Data Analytics/AI Consultant (m/f/d)

We're looking for a Data Analytics/AI Consultant to join our team in Frankfurt, Berlin, Leipzig or Munich, Germany in a hybrid working mode.

In this role, you will combine deep technical expertise in data, analytics and AI with strong implementation skills to deliver data-driven outcomes for clients. You will work on designing and implementing advanced analytics, GenAI and Agentic AI solutions that are secure, scalable and cost-effective in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand needs and identify opportunities for using data, analytics and AI to solve business problems
• Translate business demands into technical requirements by defining project goals, metrics, data sources and methodologies
• Develop, evaluate and monitor production-ready data analytics, AI and Agentic AI solutions ensuring secure and scalable operation
• Apply expertise in data modeling, advanced analytics, GenAI and agent-based frameworks to solve client challenges and ensure solution quality
• Apply statistical methods including regression, hypothesis testing and forecasting to develop predictive models and analytical outputs
• Support the development of comprehensive data and AI strategies including use case identification and solution roadmaps
• Participate in stakeholder workshops, design sessions and strategic discussions to align business and technical requirements
• Take technical ownership of solution components and work closely with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to implement key design decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, develop datasets and apply appropriate algorithms to deliver high-quality solutions
• Stay current with trends in data and analytics including cloud data platforms, open-source solutions, data science, GenAI and Agentic AI
• Participate in code reviews and testing to uphold quality standards and engineering best practices

Requirements

• Proven end-to-end experience delivering data, analytics and AI solutions including data platforms, advanced analytics, GenAI and Agentic AI
• Deep hands-on expertise in SQL and Python including advanced analytics, performance tuning, data modeling and model evaluation
• Proven experience applying statistical methods, predictive modeling and machine learning techniques to deliver advanced analytics solutions
• Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and optimizing GenAI solutions including large language models (LLMs), multimodal AI applications and human‑in‑the‑loop solutions
• Solid understanding of Agentic AI concepts including development and orchestration of autonomous AI agents
• Experience implementing agent‑based workflows that integrate with IT landscapes, APIs, MCP servers and enterprise platforms
• Knowledge of implementing monitoring, governance and control mechanisms for AI systems
• Familiarity with data security principles (RBAC, ABAC, RLS and attribute‑level security) and regulatory compliance frameworks including GDPR, EU AI Act and ISO‑27001
• Proficiency in designing and delivering data and AI solutions using at least one leading cloud platform – AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English

Nice to have

• Experience in energy, utilities or industrial sectors
• Practical experience with Microsoft Foundry, Copilot, Power Platform and Azure AI Search
• Hands‑on experience with DataOps principles and implementing CI/CD for data pipelines
• Proficiency in Palantir Foundry, Celonis, Kubernetes & Flux (GitOps) and DataDog
• Practical experience documenting software architectures using arc42
