Data Center Field Engineer

Location: Frankfurt, Germany
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, 1 year contract (extension possible)
Work authorization: Candidates must have legal right to work in Germany (no visa sponsorship)

Responsibilities

• On-site implementation of modular construction and IT infrastructure projects in data centers
• Conduct site surveys and technical assessments before deployment
• Manage and coordinate on-site construction and technical teams
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and infrastructure issues
• Maintain and update project documentation and reports
• Monitor project progress, quality and risks, and provide feedback to the project manager
• Communicate effectively with local teams, vendors and partners to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements

• Minimum 2years of experience in data center operations, network engineering or infrastructure deployment
• Hands-on technical background (networking, cabling, racks, hardware, construction or facilities)
• Experience working on-site in technical or construction environments
• Good documentation and reporting skills
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to work on-site in Frankfurt
