As a Software Engineer, you will be part of our diverse Software Development Unit, actively involved in the development of business functionality and components. You will collaborate with talented professionals to design and implement systems that power global trading operations. Your Responsibilities Participate in the development and maintenance of data pipelines Work on data modeling, ETL processes, and data transformation tasks to support the data warehousing infrastructureContribute to data quality assurance efforts by identifying and rectifying data anomalies, ensuring data accuracyMaintain clear and concise documentation of data pipelines, processes, and best practicesWork across departmental teams to support the data needs of internal partners & stakeholders, clients and regulatory bodiesStay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, and related fields to contribute fresh ideas and innovationCreate ad-hoc reports from our data warehouse using SQL/notebook Your Profile Familiarity with Kafka, Flink/Spark, HBase and/or other relevant Big Data technologiesFirst hand experience with Dataware House/Data Lake, databasesKnowledge in database systems, SQL, and data modelingProficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala, Spark) is a bonusExperience with Cloudera solutions, both operational and application development, is a plusYou have relevant degrees in a technical field of study (e.g. data or computer science)You are curious about the world of data engineering, enjoy finding solutions to arising challenges and simultaneously documenting the processExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesDetail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work Our Offer Clear career conceptPerformance appraisals on a regular basePossibility to switch between Software Development teams according to interests, projects, and skills360T AcademyFrankfurt office located directly in the city centerSocial gatherings We offer an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated individual to participate in the growth of a successful technology company in the financial sector.
