What You’ll Do

• Build and further develop a cloud-based data lake architecture using modern AWS services
• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines with tools like Airflow, dbt, and Spark for batch and real-time data
• Develop analytics and event tracking solutions to monitor user behavior and key business metrics
• Ensure high data quality through testing frameworks and monitoring systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data insights and reporting
• Optimize data storage, queries, and workflows for performance and cost efficiency, including automation via Infrastructure as Code

What You Bring

• Degree
• 3 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
• Strong programming skills in Python or similar
• Experience with AWS or the like
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration, messaging systems, and data formats like Parquet
• Experience with data transformation tools and BI/visualization tools is a plus
• Solid understanding of data modeling and performance optimization
• Interest in AI technologies and willingness to contribute to their implementation
• Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and ability to work independently
