We are working with a global leader in insurance and asset management who focus on accelerating digital transformation, leveraging AI and advanced analytics to reshape customer interactions, operational efficiency, and risk management.

Now they are looking for a Data Scientist/Machine Learning Expert with a focus on Large Language Modules (LLMs) to join their growing team in Germany.

The role

• Work closely with business experts to understand the operational needs and translate business needs into solutions
• Apply data science tools to solve business challenges (including machine learning/visualisation/GenAI)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share expertise and to implement advanced solutions
• Contribute to the innovation and advancement of machine learning capabilities within the organisation
• Share knowledge through appropriate documentation and events (workshops, talks, seminars, etc)

Your profile

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science/Machine Learning field
• Understanding of modern Large Language Models and experience in using them (inference, APIs, fine-tuning)
• Working experience in data processing, databases (relational and NoSQL)
• Experience in clouds (e.g. Google Cloud, AWS, Azure)
• Fluent German and English
