About the Role

As a Data Systems Engineer, you will work independently to deliver projects within set time and scope, engaging with clients to identify expectations, propose solutions, and implement them using AVEVA PI.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Operational Intelligence solutions using AVEVA PI for global industrial environments.
• Develop, deploy, and support real‑time use cases to optimize operational performance and efficiency.
• Create and maintain comprehensive reporting and analytics dashboards using Power BI.
• Integrate data sources from OT systems into AVEVA PI for effective data visualization and decision‑making.
• Ensure reliable data acquisition, validation, storage, and distribution across various platforms.
• Troubleshoot data quality and connectivity issues within OI environments.
• Collaborate closely with operational, engineering, and IT teams to enhance analytics solutions.
• Conduct periodic assessments to identify and implement performance improvements.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field. AVEVA PI certifications are preferred.
• 2+ years in Operational Intelligence, AVEVA PI engineering, or industrial data analytics.
• Experience with Industry 4.0, digitalization strategies, and operational excellence frameworks.
• Strong expertise in AVEVA PI architecture, AF, Vision, and PI interfaces/connectors.
• Experience developing operational intelligence use cases, data analytics, and visualization.
• Proficiency in Power BI and other reporting tools.
• Knowledge of scripting/programming (Python, SQL) for data manipulation.
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols (OPC, Modbus, MQTT).
• Excellent problem‑solving, collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ideal Profile

• Demonstrated experience deploying AVEVA PI in industrial environments.
• Proven track record developing OI use cases.
• Strong programming skills and understanding of SCADA, DCS, PLC integration.
• Proactive, analytical approach to troubleshooting.
