Database Administrator Oracle

The client is an innovative trading and services company with a clear growth strategy in the changing energy market. In addition to the energy supply of commercial and industrial customers, they focus on the marketing of electricity from renewable energy sources and provide plant operators with a wide range of revenue opportunities. As part of their growth and expansion plans in Germany, they are looking for a Oracle DB Administrator , to work out of their office in Dusseldorf.

Job Description

Tasks:

• work on projects from requirement analysis to development to project completion
• Administration of the EDM and PFM system BelVis (electricity and gas) Kisters AG
• Develop interfaces to other systems that rely on web services technology.
• Work in a small and quick-witted team
• Support the department and work in a inter disciplinary cross functional team.
• Administration of Oracle database
• Support the database and the application server
• Program reports and scripts in BelVis system for various departments (Language KiBasic)

Qualifications

Requirements:

• A degree in computer science or equivalent.
• .NET / SQL skills are an advantage.
• Must have a high degree of analytical thinking skills and is goal-oriented and structure-competent
• Must not be afraid to take responsibility and work independently, flexible and committed to meeting your goals.
• Must be resilient in crisis situations and under pressure
• Energy Business knowledge would be advantageous
• Fluent English is a pre-requisite. Knowledge of German would be an advantage.
