The Data Management team implements technical solutions for our specialist departments and customers. In addition to the acceptance of data, this also includes the preparation and further processing of data for downstream processes. Processing large volumes of data requires a correspondingly high degree of automation.

For our Essen, Berlin, Schwerin locations and/or in hybrid working, we are looking for a Database Developer (m/f/d) – SQL Server. Focus: Data acceptance.

Tasks

• Setting up and maintaining data paths via sFTP and other secure transmission paths
• Setup and operation of load paths based on Microsoft SQL Server
• Communication with external and internal contacts regarding the various data exchange procedures
• Automation of data quality assurance and preparation of data for further processing in the specialist departments
• Design and operation of interactive reports for monitoring data quality

Profile

• Completed (technical) university degree with information technology content or comparable training with relevant professional experience
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database administration
• Initial practical experience in Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) and Integration Services (SSIS) desirable
• Previous knowledge of modern programming languages
• Business fluent in written and spoken German
• Commitment, strong communication skills, ability to work in a team and independent working style
