Department Lead (m/f/d) Industrial IT

To continue growing and to tackle the challenges of tomorrow, we are looking for Emden or Bremen location as Department Lead (m/f/d) Industrial IT.

Overview

Wind Multiplikator – powered by Semco Maritime – is the full‑service provider for offshore wind projects. We offer a wide range of services, from small campaigns to complete O&M services. Our core competencies are the management and maintenance of offshore wind farms, as well as the turnkey replacement and repair of major components using our jack‑up vessels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop your assigned specialists, including capacity planning, goal setting, and regular employee reviews.
  • Plan, organize, monitor, and troubleshoot the Industrial IT infrastructure, including regular performance monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with work guidelines, occupational safety, health protection, and productivity within your department.
  • Work closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure a safe and quality‑oriented execution of tasks. Analyze and assess defective parts and inspect signs of wear.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or computer science, or vocational training with relevant professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the relevant field and in leading a team. Solid knowledge in standardization of automation technology, communication protocols (IEC standards), and Industrial IT infrastructure.
  • Experience in industrial automation, video technology, safety systems, network technology, and telecommunications.
  • Structured, solution‑oriented, and flexible. Analytical approach. Ready to lead a great team.
  • Open and confident communication style, including in English.
