We are looking to strengthen our team at the earliest possible date

  • Deputy IT Manager (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility

  • Participation in the strategic planning and implementation of the IT strategy
  • Planning, managing and implementing IT projects, including resource and time planning
  • Development and implementation of IT security concepts
  • Support in the selection and implementation of specialist systems
  • Monitoring and optimization of the existing IT infrastructure
  • Creating and maintaining documentation on IT systems and projects
  • Cost control and optimization of IT expenditure
  • Organization and implementation of training courses for employees on the use of IT systems and applications and on IT security topics
  • Close cooperation with other departments
  • Interface between IT and external partners
  • Contact person for all IT-related issues within the company

• Professional qualification

  • • Completed studies in computer science, completed training as an IT specialist - System integration with appropriate further training or comparable qualification
  • • Several years of experience in the IT sector, ideally in the support of entire IT landscapes
  • • In-depth knowledge of network and server administration as well as open source technologies
  • • Sound knowledge of IT security standards and data protection regulations
  • • Experience in the planning and implementation of IT projects
  • • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. proALPHA) is an advantage

• Personal qualification

  • • Strong problem solving skills and analytical thinking
  • • High self-motivation and willingness to take on responsibility
  • • Excellent communication skills
  • • Adaptability in a dynamic environment with changing requirements
  • • Entrepreneurial thinking, coordination and organizational skills as well as the ability to work under pressure and in a team

• Additional qualification

  • • Fluent written and spoken German
  • • Very good written and spoken English skills
  • • Experience in the mechanical engineering or manufacturing industry an advantage
  • • Additional IT certificates desirable
