Your responsibilities

• Creating 3D models, parametric models, drawings, and bills of materials for the new development and enhancement of gasketed and brazed plate heat exchangers
• Preparing, editing, and approving mechanical pressure vessel strength calculations
• Producing standardized customer, catalog, certification, and bolt reference drawings
• Creating and editing change reports
• Creating and reviewing assembly instructions
• Close cooperation with related departments, such as Research and Innovation, in an international environment

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermodynamics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience
• Very good knowledge of CAD programs, preferably Inventor
• Good knowledge of working with parametric models, preferably Inventor iLogic
• Good knowledge of working with PDM systems, preferably Vault
• Very good knowledge of thermodynamics
• Good knowledge of heat exchangers, particularly plate heat exchangers
• Good knowledge of pressure equipment directives (e.g., ASME or DIN EN and their analytical calculation
• Knowledge of FEM (Finite Element Method) calculations
• Good command of German and English
• Good knowledge of common MS Office applications
• Structured working style
• Workplace at one of the locations in Sarstedt (near Hanover) or Wilchwitz (near Altenburg), with a willingness for occasional travel to the other site
