Design engineer / technical draughtsman (m/f/d) for special refrigeration systems

We are an established engineering company for sustainable industrial refrigeration technology based in Karlsruhe-Durlach and specialising in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Our focus: efficient, durable and safe system technology with exclusively natural refrigerants. Our projects include freeze-drying, gas liquefaction, cryogenic storage, automated storage and high-temperature heat pumps.

Your tasks

• Creation of flow diagrams and 2D layouts in MS Visio
• 3D design of machines, apparatus and pipework in Autodesk Inventor and Revit
• Participation in site acceptance tests
• Collaboration in international project teams
• Creation of parts lists, drawings and technical documentation
• Support with assembly and production documents
• Coordination with suppliers, customers and internal project teams
• Optional: Carrying out CFD simulations (flow analyses) and structural calculations with Autodesk software

You have

• Completed training as a technical product designer, technical draughtsman, industrial mechanic, refrigeration mechatronics technician or plant mechanic (each with CAD experience)
• ...or a degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, environmental engineering, electrical engineering or building services engineering
• Interested in environmental protection, plant engineering and refrigeration technology
