Desktop Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support and resolve common desktop-related issues in daily operations
• Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining desktop support documentation to ensure accuracy and usability
• Collaborate with other IT teams to support desktop devices and related infrastructure

Education

• Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or overseas equivalent)

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in desktop support or end-user computing
• Hands‑on experience with Windows and/or macOS operating systems

Certifications (Preferred)

• Desktop-related certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administratorare a plus

Technical Skills

• Solid knowledge of desktop support and device management
• Basic experience in performance monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting
• Understanding of IT security policies and ability to support endpoint security compliance

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
• Good documentation skills with attention to detail

Languages

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken) for technical communication
• Proficiency in Chinese or local language (German) is required
