What You'll Build

As a Software Engineer (f/m/d) you will build cutting‑edge cloud infrastructure that brings generative AI capabilities to SAP's core business applications. Your tasks will include:

• Build and operate scalable cloud services and infrastructure for generative AI capabilities in SAP's most business‑critical enterprise applications.
• Automate and monitor services to ensure continuous delivery across multiple cloud environments.
• Develop proofs‑of‑concept to evaluate new technologies and services for future use.

What You Bring

Degree in computer science or a related field with up to 5 years of relevant working experience.

• Programming skills in a modern programming language such as Go, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, etc. Go and Python are preferred.
• Understanding of distributed systems and cloud‑native engineering principles.
• First experiences with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Growth mindset and strong passion for rapidly learning and applying new technologies.
• Fluent English language skills – both written and spoken, and excellent communication skills overall.

Beneficial

• Experience with modern software development practices including agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban) and CI/CD automation.
• Familiarity with observability technologies such as OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus for monitoring and alerting.
• An understanding of AI/ML concepts, especially generative AI and model serving frameworks.
