What you’ll build

As a Developer you will build reliable and scalable services for end-to-end automation of customer processes across entire enterprises, ranging from simple approval workflows to innovative AI‑powered processes at global scale. You will apply the latest technologies to build, run, and operate state‑of‑the‑art microservices for process execution and help evolve the heart of SAP Build Process Automation on SAP's Business Technology Platform.

You will also assume shared responsibility (50%) for managing customer support within the team, analyzing, resolving, and escalating customer and internal issues to ensure consistent ticket processing, and developing an understanding of customer scenarios and challenges.

We need a developer who is passionate about learning, loves writing high‑quality code, familiar with agile practices, TDD, CI/CD, and enjoys applying analytical skills to solve difficult problems, stepping out of comfort zone when needed.

What you bring

• You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Natural Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• You bring very good software engineering and development skills.
• You love writing high‑quality code and are familiar with agile software engineering practices. TDD or CI/CD is second nature to you.
• You enjoy applying your analytical skills to tackle complex challenges and are willing to step out of your comfort zone if needed.
• You demonstrate the ability to engage with customers in a professional manner.
• You take responsibility for your own development and support your team’s success.
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform is a plus.
• Fluency in written and spoken English & German (written & verbal) and can clearly communicate ideas and concepts.
