Your Job AT Laser Components

• Development of practical solutions and implementation of technical development projects in the field of fiber optics
• Technical and organizational responsibility for fiber optic development projects
• Creation of product and process requirements for the manufacture of fiber optic components and assemblies
• Creation of process and test instructions as well as technical documentation
• Definition and application of suitable optical measurement technology

What You Bring With You

• Successfully completed degree in engineering or natural sciences with a focus on physics, optics, laser technology (M.Sc.)
• In‑depth knowledge and practical experience in the field of fiber optics
• Several years of professional experience in industrial companies in the development of fiber technology solutions
• Experience in development project management
• Confident use of CAD systems (e.g., SolidEdge) and knowledge of data processing and analysis (e.g., with Phyton)
• Qualification in ray optical design with Zemax OpticStudio
• Structured, independent way of working and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
• Confident written and spoken German and English
