Your tasks

• Lead the design and continuous improvement of lighting components
• Ensure compliance with all technical specifications, legislation and industry standards
• Collaborate with system architects and other engineering teams to integrate lighting components into the vehicle
• Define and execute validation tests including Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) and in‑vehicle testing
• Act as the technical interface for international suppliers
• Monitor development progress to ensure quality timing and milestone adherence
• Analyze and resolve technical issues during development and in the field
• Continuously enhance component performance based on test results and user feedback
• Create and maintain technical documentation for components
• Provide regular updates and reports to project stakeholders

Your Profile

• Bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in lighting component development or a similar role
• Experience working in international and cross‑functional teams
• Strong knowledge of lighting components especially for heavy‑duty vehicles
• Experience with system integration and validation in the automotive sector
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Intercultural competence and ability to collaborate across time zones
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Fluent in English written and spoken
