DevOps Engineer (AWS) (mfx)

Tipico is looking for a DevOps Engineer (AWS) (m / f / x) to join our team. Grow with us introduce us to new ideas and develop products that maximise the thrill of sports for our customers. Your playing field :

• You are planning designing and monitoring services in the AWS cloud to assure optimal reliability security and availability managing automation tasks around containerised applications in Kubernetes
• You are building automation software mostly in Python (Go)
• You are partnering with development teams to improve services
• You are participating in system design consulting capacity planning
• You are operating and developing using managed services in the AWS Cloud (EKS ElastiCache OpenSearch S3 Lambda Kafka MSK EC2 ECS etc.)
• You are constantly looking for new trends in the market and seeing how we can benefit from implementation in our environment.
• You are not afraid to play around with new technologies of your choice to improve the quality of our day‑to‑day life
• You are designing infrastructure as a code (IaC) environment in combination with CI / CD workflows
• You are operating in a highly flexible environment with continuous service improvement
• You are working on automating our daily routines and maintenance tasks to be more efficient

Qualifications :

• Education and Experience. Bachelors / Masters degree in computer science or an equivalent degree or 4 years of professional experience in cloud system engineering.
• Subject Matter Expert. You are an expert in cloud computing technologies (AWS)
• Expertise. You have solid knowledge and experience in designing setting up maintaining and troubleshooting Enterprise‑level systems.
• Automation Skills. You have hands‑on experience in scripting and automation (Python Go etc.).
• Issues are challenges for you. You have troubleshooting skills and you can apply a logical approach to resolutions.
• Benefit. Vendor certifications (AWS) or equivalent Experience in a Java‑based development environment (Java Background is of benefit).
• Language skills. You are fluent in English. If you have a working knowledge of German it would be an advantage.
