Grow together The oneMDMS IT system forms the platform for almost all mobile devices in use at Post & Parcel Germany, e.g. in parcel delivery or in the parcel shops, a total of approx. 160,000 devices. The number of clients, devices and device types is constantly increasing. At the heart of our platform is the standard product SOTI MobiControl, which is extensively customized and expanded by our team. We develop specialized components for automated software distribution and interfaces to adjacent systems. This year, our systems are going to be migrated onto the Azure platform.

As our DevOps Engineer & Azure Expert you will be part of our distributed team, having the following key responsibilities :

1. Establish rules, routines and best practices to operate our MDM platform in an Azure environment, incl. IaC.
2. Design and implement highly automated monitoring and alerting solutions from scratch.
3. Leverage CI/CD for our MDM tool development.

Our tech stack includes Windows and Linux environments, SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases and the standard development tools on the market. The target platform for all new systems is Microsoft Azure. Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of cloud-based infrastructures, related challenges and solutions.
• Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Grafana) and implementing automated alerting systems.
• Fundamental knowledge about network infrastructures.
• Solid, expandable programming skills.
• Azure Administrator Associate or similar Azure certifications are a plus.
• Experience with SOTI MobiControl and Microsoft SQL Server are an advantage.
• German language skills would be beneficial.
