DevOps Engineer Azure

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join a high-priority project for a leading UK Healthcare company. This is an exciting opportunity to work remotely with a dynamic team, helping to design and implement critical infrastructure.

Role Overview

As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure under security and scalability requirements. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, to integrate systems, automate deployments, and ensure robust monitoring and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure infrastructure according to security, reliability, and scalability guidelines.
• Collaborate with various teams to align on technical requirements and solutions.
• Integrate with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and CSMS on AWS.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Build and manage multiple environments and create pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
• Set up monitoring and alerting systems to detect and resolve failures proactively.
• Document solutions thoroughly and create runbooks for operational support.

Required Skills and Experience

• Azure (Networking, VPN Gateway, Azure Function Apps, Storage Account, Front Door, AVD, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Managed DevOps Pools).
• Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline expertise.
• Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Git/GitHub for version control.
• Strong knowledge of Bash scripting.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Jira, standups, retrospectives, planning).

Additional Information

• Clearance: BPSS is required initially, and SC clearance will be required later in the project.
• This is a remote role, but candidates must be based in the UK.
