We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer, Digital Health, to join our team as soon as possible.
Your main tasks

Extend, improve and maintain an Azure-centric yet hybrid Kubernetes ecosystem for our services.
Establish robust monitoring, alerting, log management and failover systems to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
Implement security best practices across the infrastructure, applications, and deployment processes, including vulnerability assessments and compliance checks.
Continually improve the development and implementation of Infrastructure as Code solutions using OpenTofu/Terraform to automate the provisioning of infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and system administrators, but also product owners and our dedicated IT, innovations and compliance departments, to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.

Your profile

Several years of experience in a DevOps, DevSecOps or Site Reliability Engineering role, demonstrating a strong background in infrastructure and deployment automation.
Expertise in managing Azure infrastructure, especially around Front Door, Application Gateway and AKS, but also touching Flex databases, Event Hubs, Communication Services etc.
In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and its related technologies (e.g. Cilium, Istio/Linkerd, Cert-Manager, etc.).
Thorough understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security measures within DevOps processes.
Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines, using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or CircleCI.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Familiarity with GitOps processes, particularly using ArgoCD.
Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Familiarity with tracing tools (e.g., Jaeger, Open Telemetry).
Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritize, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ideally, you have experience with hybrid or on-premise / self-hosted Kubernetes.
Ideally, you speak German in at least B1 level. Our Engineering team speaks English exclusively, but knowing German will be helpful - though not necessary - for communicating with the rest of the company.
