Your mission

• Setting up and ensuring the smooth operation of web and e-commerce applications in our private and public cloud infrastructures.
• Monitoring, supporting and automating modern web applications and services, as well as their administration, configuration and monitoring.
• Further development and operation of virtualisation and container environments and the evaluation of new technologies, including the planning of system changes.
• Working closely with our software development and interdisciplinary teams as required.

Your profile

• Completed training as an IT specialist or a degree in IT, coupled with good knowledge of Linux and/or Windows environments.
• In-depth knowledge of redundancy, monitoring and automation concepts, as well as very good knowledge of HTTP, TLS, DNS, firewall, load balancer, WAF, proxy and CDN.
• Practical experience in configuring and operating several of the following products: Apache, nginx, IIS, MySQL, MariaDB, MSSQL, Tomcat, PHP, ASP.NET, Solr, Redis, Varnish, elastic, VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Prometheus or Ansible.
• Experience in configuring and operating hyperscalers such as Azure, AWS or Google, as well as scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python or Shell.
• Ability to read and understand program code such as Java, C# or PHP, complemented by strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Certifications in relevant product groups or ITIL knowledge are an advantage.
