We're seeking a versatile DevOps Engineer / Systems Administrator / Security Specialist to join our international team and build the secure, reliable infrastructure foundation for our medical AI platform. What You'll Do
- Design and maintain secure Linux-based infrastructure for medical AI applications
- Implement and manage containerization strategies using Docker and potentially Kubernetes
- Develop and enforce comprehensive web security measures including TLS implementation, authentication systems, rate limiting, and network security zones
- Build and maintain robust logging and monitoring systems to ensure system health and compliance
- Design and implement backup and high availability strategies specifically tailored for sensitive medical data
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data protection regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, medical device standards)
- Collaborate with development teams to implement secure CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
- Monitor system performance and security, responding to incidents and implementing preventive measures
- Work with healthcare IT teams to ensure seamless and secure integration with hospital networks
Key Requirements
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies, particularly Docker
- Experience with web security implementations including TLS/SSL configuration, authentication mechanisms, and network security
- Knowledge of rate limiting, firewall configuration, and IP zone management
- Hands-on experience with logging and monitoring solutions
- Understanding of backup strategies and high availability concepts for critical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to security details
- Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)
- Optional: Kubernetes orchestration and cluster management experience
- Optional: Advanced logging and monitoring tools such as ELK Stack, Grafana Loki, Prometheus
- Optional: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and their security services
- Optional: Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
- Optional: Understanding of healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, GDPR, FDA regulations)
- Optional: Previous work in healthcare IT or regulated industries
