Digital Forensic Senior Manager - Germany, Frankfurt - €100,000 to €125,000

A specialist consultancy is seeking a Digital Forensic Senior Manager to join its EMEA team.

This is a senior, hands-on role for an experienced digital forensics professional who can lead complex investigations, advise clients directly, and support high-profile cross-border matters.

The successful candidate will be based in Germany, speak fluent German and English, and be able to travel to Frankfurt monthly.

The Role

This person will lead forensic engagements across collection, preservation, analysis and reporting, while acting as a trusted advisor to clients, legal teams and internal stakeholders. They will manage multiple matters at once, provide clear guidance on forensic strategy, and help ensure work is delivered to a high technical and defensible standard.

The role requires strong hands-on experience across areas such as:

• Cloud forensics, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Azure
• Mobile device forensics using tools such as Cellebrite Premium and Magnet GreyKey
• Computer forensics across Windows and macOS
• File systems including NTFS, APFS, HFS+, FAT and exFAT
• Troubleshooting issues relating to preservation, extraction, encryption and data integrity

The consultancy is looking for someone with:

• Strong hands-on digital forensics experience in a consultancy, investigations or corporate environment
• The ability to lead client discussions and manage forensic matters independentlyStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
• A collaborative approach and experience working across teams and regions
• Fluency in German and English
• A base in Germany and willingness to travel to Frankfurt

Preferred Background

• Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience
• Certifications such as EnCE, CFCE or CCE
• A genuine interest in forensic methodology, investigative thinking and technical quality

Pay range and compensation package

• Base salary of €100,000 - €125,000
• Discretionary bonus of 5-10%
