Director Digital Strategy

Our client is a digital strategy consultancy founded in 2011 and headquartered in Munich, Germany. With more than 300 employees and over 2,000 projects completed worldwide, the firm supports clients in over 50 countries. They specializes in four core areas:

• Transaction Advisory (digital due diligence, exit readiness)
• Digital Strategy (growth models, go-to-market, transformation roadmaps)
• Digital Execution (marketing, automation, experience design, integrations)
• Tech, Data & AI Transformation (architecture, AI solutions, data platforms)

The company works closely with investors, private equity firms, mid-sized companies, and corporates, focusing on measurable value creation. Its unique strength lies in combining strategy with hands-on implementation to unlock digital growth and transformation.

What we look for:

• You take responsibility for strategic projects and clients in an international context.
• You lead project teams and coordinate with external stakeholders.
• You create written communication for clients that are impactful and meaningful in a variety of media including reports and slide packs.
• You lead the organization of activities such as workshops, meetings, research, stakeholder engagement, business analyses, technical analyses, and solution design as part of both client projects and internal projects.
• You conduct research into new topics that are of interest to our clients.
• You run workshops with clients supporting them in content questions.
• You supervise and develop your team and support recruiting activities for new and high-potential strategy managers.

Requirements

• You hold a university degree with excellent grades in business, economics, or a related discipline (Master's degree or MBA are a plus).
• You bring at least 5 years of relevant work experience in a digital marketing environment with a focus on (digital) strategy, transaction advisory, or digital marketing – additional experience is a plus.
• You demonstrate proven high analytical ability and a strong affinity for technologies combined with a creative mind.
• You exhibit outstanding team coordination and team leading skills.
• You showcase very good Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• You are a service-oriented and communicative team player with a passion for work.
• You display distinct customer orientation and possess the ability to mediate between the client and the company.
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in written short copy.
• You speak English fluently; regional languages are an advantage.
