Director, Drug Product

Overview We are partnered with a globally successful pharmaceutical organisation that is adding new headcount to their strategic leadership group. The Director of Drug Product will lead a matrix team responsible for drug product manufacturing processes from early clinical stage through commercialisation - focusing on technical transfer across internal sites and CDMOs. The ideal candidate has experience working with biologics and small molecule forms across oral solids and parenterals. The position is hybrid based out of Munich.

Responsibilities Lead and coordinate drug product development and manufacturing activities both internally and externally Acting as a strategic lead across global teams and sites to align the programs Participate in early clinical stage programs and late stage activities such as process validation, PPQ, and NDA/BLA filing Manage a matrix team and drive development towards fast-moving deliverables

Requirements PhD in pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical science, chemical engineering or a related discipline and 10+ years in formulation development Ideally you have experience in development of biologics and small molecules but either is also acceptable - oral solid and parenteral experience is needed Experienced in early clinical stage formulation development through P3, including PPQ, process validation, and supporting regulatory filings Track record of working with global internal and external teams to develop programs Desire to be a strategic leader, building a long term DP strategy Willingness to work hybrid in Munich and travel to other sites Contact If interested, apply to this job and reach out to Amit at
