Join to apply for the Director of Content Operations role at Podimo — one of Europe’s fastest-growing podcast and audiobook platforms. We’re looking for an experienced content leader to join our Berlin team.

As the Director of Content Operations, you’ll support the German Content leadership in strategic, business and operational matters across commissioning and production. The role focuses on content investment management, content planning and launch operations, and content data management within a strong commercial framework aligned with Podimo’s overall strategic business objectives.

What You’ll Do

Operational Leadership: Work closely with local Content leadership to lead and refine the planning, production, and launch of content. Ensure scalable, efficient workflows and oversee planning and release schedules across the portfolio.
Content Performance Management: Track and analyze performance data, translate insights into action, share recommendations with leadership, and guide key investment and renewal decisions.
Financial Oversight: Own budgets, cost tracking, forecasting; use data to make investment calls that maximize ROI and meet performance targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Content, Production, Legal, Marketing, Data, Finance, Product to ensure content initiatives support Podimo’s strategy.
Process Improvement: Continuously simplify and refine working processes to boost speed, quality, and scalability.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire local Content Operations, Commissioning and Production teams, fostering accountability, innovation, data fluency, and continuous learning.

This is You

Solid experience in content operations, production management, or a related field within media and entertainment.
Ability to turn complex workflows into smooth, scalable systems in fast‑moving environments.
Strategic perspective with operational precision, comfortable switching between long‑term planning and day‑to‑day problem‑solving.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, with hands‑on experience in budget ownership, forecasting and ROI analysis.
Data‑driven, insight‑led; translate performance metrics into clear actions and recommendations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at executive and operational levels.
Fluent in German and English, both verbally and in writing.

Being passionate about podcasts, audio content, media and entertainment is a big plus.
