We are accepting applications for the position of Director of Mental Health and School Support. All applicants must follow one of the following processes:

Process for Out of District Applicants

Applicants for this position must have the following qualifications and experience:

• Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or a related field
• Valid Texas Teacher and classroom teaching or school-based management experience is highly preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience working in or with an urban education system with a focus on social, emotional and behavioral supports strongly preferred
• Familiarity with SEL strategies (PBIS, CASEL, CHAMPS, Restorative Practices, Tier I/II/III Interventions, etc.)
• Experience with collection, monitoring, and interpretation of data associated with district behavior and discipline
