Director Pricing Strategy and Management – EMEA

The Director of Price Strategy & Management, EMEA will play a lead role in supporting Henry Schein distribution businesses across EMEA to drive positive commercial outcomes from pricing through enhanced governance, improved execution and smart use of pricing tools. This role is accountable for the development and implementation of both the Full Service & DMO EMEA Distribution Pricing Strategies. The director will work closely with local leadership teams to ensure deployment and adoption of the EMEA regional pricing tool and establish best‑in‑class price management practices across the region. A significant focus will be on scaling and embedding systems, refining pricing in line with strategic aims, working cross‑functionally with commercial, finance and IT teams to ensure optimal and effective adoption and execution of the EMEA pricing strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead regional pricing strategy development and pricing tool implementation: Design and deliver the implementation and change‑management plans to support successful market roll‑out of Henry Schein’s pricing strategy and tools across EMEA. Ensure tool configuration and workflows align with the overall pricing strategy.
  • Evolve price management function & ways of working: Define and implement the appropriate operating model across central, regional and local pricing teams; clarify decision rights, handoffs and interfaces; enhance existing pricing governance and operationalise it through tools and behaviours.
  • Drive regional execution & support: Oversee execution of recurring pricing activities (e.g. list price reviews, price rounding, campaign pricing) and partner with the ESAT team to support local teams with complex pricing situations.
  • Develop team & enablement: Build and lead a high‑performing regional pricing team, develop capabilities in margin analytics, tool proficiency and deal pricing, and enable delivery of training on value‑selling and competitive intelligence.
  • Monitor, optimise & report: Use dashboards and KPIs to track tool adoption, pricing discipline and gross‑to‑net impact across markets; champion data quality, automation and feedback loops to continuously improve pricing processes and systems.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in pricing, commercial operations or revenue management; Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience implementing or scaling pricing tools aligned to strategy.
  • Proven experience & ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence in matrix structures.
  • Beneficial to have experience in healthcare B2B environments.
  • Experience with pricing tools such as PROS, Pricefx, Vistex or equivalents.
  • Experience with own‑brand and branded product dynamics.
  • Background in healthcare B2B industries.
  • Familiarity with European reimbursement, tendering or compliance environments.
