Director of Product Engineering - Tax Filing (d / f / m)

Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence.

Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix, Steuerbot and TaxScouts, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016.

We're looking for an ambitious, technically rooted, and commercially driven Director of Product Engineering to lead and inspire our engineering teams responsible for our mobile and web tax filing products. This is a strategic senior leadership role with high visibility and impact, reporting directly to the CTO and working hand-in-hand with Product, Data, and Design.

We believe technology managers and leaders at all levels should be professionals at technology, should be able to jump into any project and understand the bits & bolts of the technologies their teams use.
