Director R&D (m/w/d) Industrial Amplifier for RF Plasma Generation

We are looking for a Director of Research Development to lead a multi‑site team developing plasma generation amplifiers.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading a multi‑site team developing plasma generation amplifiers
• Contribute to product strategy and implementation through systematic project management
• Close collaboration with product management, especially in the USA, and other development teams
• Entrepreneurial evaluation and initiation of partnerships
• Coaching and training of team members
• Reporting to Senior Director

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in electrical engineering, communications engineering or physics
• Experience with RF generators and matching networks for RF plasma applications (e.g. semiconductor production or PV cell coating)
• Several years of professional experience in this field or, alternatively, in plasma generation in the semiconductor industry
• Leadership experience of highly qualified R&D teams incl. project responsibility desirable
• Ideally, industry expertise in semiconductor production
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Ability to motivate a team, focus on shared goal, inspire and confidently lead with new ideas
• Understand customer needs and ability to communicate with different interfaces
• Reliability, assertiveness and negotiating skills
• Fluent in English, good knowledge of German
