Role Overview

The Distribution Account Manager (DAM) will build and promote Fortinet’s position as the worldwide leader specifically through the Value-Added Distributor (VAD) community in Germany. You will be a key contributor to the revenue growth of the region, in line with Fortinet growth targets.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage one of Fortinet’s largest distributors in Germany, spearheading new business development and successfully developing the small-business channel with the assigned distributor.
  • Motivate, educate and train partners in Fortinet’s products and solutions.
  • Expand sales by building business plans including MDF strategy, account penetration strategy and profitability targets with the distributor.
  • Execute marketing plans to drive incremental sales pipeline and revenues with development funds.
  • Act as the go-to channel person for the assigned distributor within region.
  • Carry quarterly and annual revenue targets.

We are looking for

  • Strong distribution sales management in the IT sector.
  • Working with distribution with an already existing business network.
  • Building and executing business and marketing plans with partners.
  • Delivering sales training is a bonus.
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with revenue responsibilities.
  • Good presentation skills to executives & individual contributors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Competitive, self-starter, college degree or higher preferred.
