DMPK Team Lead

Watton Hall are partnered with a fast-growing biotech company who are dedicated to advancing drug discovery and development through cutting-edge science and technology who are looking for an experienced Team Lead to oversee it's DMPK (Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics) department.  

This role is critical in ensuring the successful progression of our drug candidates from preclinical through clinical phase

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing structures, and processes across its DMPK group.
• Act as the subject matter expert in cross-functional teams, providing DMPK contributions through its research and development portfolio.
• Provide strategic input on drug development programs based on DMPK data; contribute to decision-making processes regarding lead optimization and candidate selection
• As the DMPK Lead you will represent the DMPK in global health authority interactions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of DMPK scientists, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation

Profile 

• Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or related field with a focus on DMPK.
• Proven track record of successful project management from preclinical through clinical stages.
• Multiple years of experience in a leadership position both as a project leader and a line manager.
