We are looking for a new doctoral candidate (PhD student) to join us in the project "Fast extremely wideband multi-sensorssystems for closed-loop testing". The objectives of this position are: Development of 3D EM field strength sensors up to 18GHz and high linearity. Establish experimental verification of theoretical results for closed-loop multi-sensor systems. Development of closed-loop control methodology for multi-sensor applications. The expected results are: Timing optimization for VIRC measurements, validated a widely accepted control methodology in hardware and software. The position is part of the newly established Marie S. Curie doctoral network NEPIT , "Network for Evaluation of Propagation and Interference Training", with collaboration partners in The Netherlands, Poland, Italy and Germany. The successful applicant is expected to write a PhD thesis based on this work, which will be supported accordingly from our side.

The successful candidates will receive a salary including mobility and family allowance (if applicable) and will be employed according to the rules for doctoral candidates (DCs) in an EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Network and the specific regulations of each institution.
Gross salary without employer´s social contribution and without family allowance:
The employee’s gross salary will be approximately 3269 € per month (without family allowance) or approximately
3816 € per month (with family allowance), depending on the year of employment and the choice of health insurance. A family allowance will be paid in case the researcher has a family. 'Family' means persons linked to the researcher by marriage (or a relationship with equivalent status to a marriage recognised by the legislation of the country where this relationship was formalised) or dependent children who are actually being maintained by the researcher.
