Sales Growth and Strategy Leader

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to drive revenue growth and develop strategic business opportunities in the speciality glass solutions market.

About this role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced sales manager to lead the development of new business relationships, secure orders, and act as the primary contact for customers.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of achieving sales targets, developing strategies, negotiating contracts, and closing deals with high-value customers.

They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate customer data and documentation in CRM systems, representing the company at trade shows and cross-functional meetings, and collaborating with global teams to execute regional strategy.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue growth and KPIs within the assigned region.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including adjacent industries.
  • Order Securing: Negotiate annual contracts, pricing, and forecasts in close alignment with internal stakeholders.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Act as the primary contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction and handling complaints professionally.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitors, sharing insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate customer data and documentation in CRM systems.
  • Representation: Represent the company at trade shows and cross-functional meetings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with global teams to execute regional strategy.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Master's degree in Optics, Electronics, Physics, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years of proven success in technical sales within an industrial environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electronics, optical materials, and components.
  • Strategic Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop strategies, negotiate contracts, and close deals with high-value customers.
  • Linguistic Skills: Fluent in English and skilled in building trustful relationships across functions and cultures.
  • Business Acumen: Comfortable with market analysis, forecasting, and identifying new business opportunities.
