Overview

Company Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is a field data collection company founded in 2017 in Europe.

The project objective is to help collect images of streets, main points of interest and public areas in EU countries. The project is performed on cars with 360 cameras mounted on top that image the area around the vehicle and store those images on computers inside the vehicle. Later, this data will be used to enhance one of the most popular online maps in the world. Data collectors will follow specific routes around public streets and areas, targeting commercial districts and historical sites. Some areas may be revisited due to weather to collect the best quality imaging. The project is expected to last from 3 to 6 months and will cover different data collection areas.

The ideal candidate enjoys driving, knows the area well, understands traffic trends, and is highly responsible and reliable. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day (40 hours per week). Due to weather downtime, weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned routes to collect data images of streets and public areas using 360 cameras mounted on vehicles.
• Ensure data is captured accurately and stored on vehicle computers for later processing.
• Coordinate with team to cover different data collection areas and adapt to weather-related adjustments.
• Maintain safe driving practices and report any issues or delays to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver Licence.
• Good driving skills and a clean driving record.
• Private monitored parking space for corporate vehicle is a plus.
• General car knowledge is a plus.
• Enjoys driving and available during standard business hours.
• Available for a minimum of 3 months.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Tech savvy (drivers will use Gmail, Google Forms, Google Meet and WhatsApp).
• High level of responsibility; self-motivated and detail-oriented.
