DX Engineer, Community Platforms

Overview

We are looking for a DX Engineer, Community Platforms to build and support a dynamic customer community at Vercel . The role involves interacting directly with our customers in the Vercel Community and helping developers onboard and troubleshoot as they build with our platform.

Responsibilities

• Represent Vercel across key community forums and official channels.
• Build relationships with customers and help them succeed.
• Provide code‑level assistance and work with customers to debug issues.
• Use customer feedback to collaborate with Product teams for platform improvements.
• Create examples and patterns for how to achieve various goals using Vercel.
• Learn a wide array of primarily frontend technologies and become a true expert.
• Develop strong expertise on both existing and new Vercel platform features.
• Improve forum infrastructure and customer experience by completing engineering tasks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a technical customer‑facing or technical documentation role.
• Strong foundational knowledge of frontend frameworks.
• Exceptional public‑facing communication skills and friendly, professional demeanor.
• Experience working with JavaScript & React and involvement in open‑source projects.
• Enjoy working in a fully remote, globally distributed team.
• Passion for helping customers succeed in public settings.
• Bonus: Experience with Next.js, deployment on Vercel, monorepos, CI/CD pipelines, DNS, CDNs, and v0.
