Dynamics BC Developer

Introduction to the Position

My client is seeking a Dynamics BC Developer to join their Microsoft Dynamics Business Central team and contribute to the development, customization, and optimisation of their ERP environment. This role is ideal for a hands‑on technical professional who enjoys building scalable solutions and working closely with cross-functional teams to support international operations.

The successful candidate will focus on designing and implementing system enhancements, integrating Business Central with other tools, and ensuring smooth and efficient ERP operations. This is a dynamic opportunity to work on innovative projects, improve processes, and help the organisation leverage the full potential of its ERP system.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement customizations and extensions for Dynamics Business Central
• Collaborate with functional consultants, product owners, and IT teams to deliver robust, business‑aligned solutions
• Optimise ERP performance and troubleshoot technical issues
• Develop and maintain integrations with other systems using APIs and related technologies
• Stay up to date with new features, tools, and technologies to enhance system functionality
• Ensure coding standards, quality assurance, and best practices are followed

Desired Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or Dynamics NAV
• Strong expertise in AL programming and Visual Studio Code
• Solid understanding of system architecture, integrations, and ERP performance optimisation
• Experience with APIs, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), and related technologies
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
• Fluency in English; German is a plus

Salary Budget: €70,000 – €95,000, but the client is open to market expectations for the right candidate.
