EDI Junior Specialist (m/f/d)

Permanent, full-time position located in Frankfurt and Pforzheim. Willingness to travel is required.

About Us

Aktivbank AG is a specialist bank for central settlement and factoring, part of the ANWR GROUP. Over 30 years of experience supporting more than 60,000 corporate customers and purchasing associations across Germany.

Area of Responsibility

Internal and external contact for questions and onboarding of central settlement associations based on EDIFACT, e‑invoicing and related procedures.
Work on projects including release changes, e‑invoicing implementation, new procedures and processes.
Gradually assume responsibility for EDI systems in Central Settlement and the bank (Seeburger BIS 6.7 Cluster, Seeburger CMA‑Tools, MFT Solution).
Check and optimize existing technologies and EDIFACT/e‑invoice processes.
Develop comprehensive test procedures and conduct them with test management.
Collaborate closely with the bank’s specialist departments and associated IT departments, providing support as required.
Communicate with service providers and manage vendor relationships.

Requirements

Business IT specialist or computer scientist with a business background; alternatively an IT education or extensive professional experience in IT‑relevant areas, complemented by further training.
Knowledge of common interface technologies and transaction or industry standards in the EDI/EAI environment (XML, XSLT, EDIFACT, AS2, FTP, SFTP, ZUGFeRD, X‑Rechnung).
Ideally project experience, familiarity with Seeburger products and EDI standards and procedures.
Experience in one or two programming languages and knowledge of SAP ERP and S/4Hana is a plus.
Confident communication in German (C1) and good written and spoken English.
Team‑player who enjoys working on site at our office locations and holds a driver’s licence.
