Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor

For a long-term major project in semiconductor industry, we are looking for an experienced I&C / BMS / Controls Supervisor with a strong focus on Building Automation / BMS / HVAC controls .

• Duration: 24 months

Important: Candidates without proven experience in Building Automation or Technical Building Services (HVAC / BMS / controls) are unfortunately not suitable.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning (incl. HOAI phases ) and field engineering for building automation systems (HVAC, controls/MSR, BMS/GLT )
• Creating automation concepts , functional descriptions , and technical specifications
• Coordinating and supervising execution of complex automation and control systems on site
• Interface coordination with design engineers, client/owner, suppliers , and internal project teams
• Performing testing, commissioning, acceptance and system optimisation (FAT/SAT )
• Troubleshooting technical issues and driving continuous improvement of existing systems
• Reviewing/defining as-built documentation and technical documentation in German and English

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Automation, HVAC/Building Services Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
• Several years of hands-on experience in building automation (both engineering/planning and implementation/commissioning )
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems , instrumentation & control (MSR) and BMS/SCADA for buildings
• Experience with automation systems and communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, KNX (or similar)
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
• Good German + good English (written and spoken)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with relevant standards/guidelines (e.g. VDI 3814, DIN, VDE, VdS )
