Electrical Engineer (focus on automation and battery charging technology) (m/f/d)

• Development of electrotechnical and electronic products from determining and analyzing requirements to designing concepts, creating functional models, implementation, prototypes, testing (verification, validation) and product series release.
• Collaboration with various interdisciplinary development teams and external development service providers.
• Consistent documentation of the development results (mainly in English).

Your profile:

• Degree in electrical engineering in a broader sense, or technician with extensive experience in product development
• Strong problem-solving skills and capacity to work in a fast-paced, global environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the development of electrical energy storage systems (batteries, in particular Li-ion batteries) and the corresponding charging devices and charging infrastructure
• Development and integration of systems in the field of programmable logic controllers (PLC), hardware and software engineering, programming of PLC
• Knowledge in the use and integration of wired and wireless data communication (CAN bus, Profinet, TCP/IP)
• Experience in the electrotechnical design of control cabinets (circuit diagram creation, cabling, connection technology)
• Experience in designing circuits for battery systems in the field of high-voltage, high-power batteries, power electronics
• Dealing with structuring methods such as ‘Requirement Engineering’, use of appropriate tools (e.g. Doors, Enterprise Architect)
• Knowledge in the application of cyber security requirements in electronic products with embedded software, PLC controls, data communication (wired and wireless)
• EMC-compliant design of circuits and layouts
• Design of functionally safe circuits
• Cooperation with external testing and certification bodies.
