You will be part of the Industrial Automation Organization at Agile Robots SE (Germany). If you are passionate about robotics, have a knack for electrical engineering, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we invite you to join our team and play a key role in driving the success of our robot solutions. As an Electrical Engineer you are responsible for design, development and implementing electrical systems specifically for industrial automation projects. In close collaboration with Sales, Production, and the Industrial Automation team you generate new value for our customers. 

Your Responsibilities

• Design and Implement Industrial Automation Systems:  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement electrical systems specifically for industrial automation projects
• Material Selection and Manufacturing Processes:  Evaluate material properties, select appropriate materials and create a bill of materials for electrical components
• Automation Integration:  Work closely with control engineers and automation specialists to ensure electrical designs align with automation requirements
• Integrate sensors, actuators, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and other automation components into electrical systems
• Electrical Circuit Design and Control Systems:  Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic for automation systems. Specify components such as relays, motor drives, sensors, and communication interfaces
• Safety Compliance and Risk Assessment:  Ensure that electrical designs comply with safety standards. 
• Commissioning and Troubleshooting:  Support commissioning and testing of electrical systems during installation and startup. Troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose faults, and implement corrective actions

Your Profile

• You are fluent in English and German
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) for electrical design.
• Knowledge of industrial automation technologies, including PLCs, SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and fieldbus communication protocols.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC).
• Familiarity with designing CE-certified AGV control systems and automation systems.
• Independent, thorough, and team-oriented describes your attitude toward work
• You are enthusiastic, a good communicator, highly motivated, and supportive
• Available for travel up to 40%
