About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer / VEFK to join a multidisciplinary engineering team based near Hannover. The team, consisting of 14 engineers, is responsible for planning and executing capital projects across a specialty chemical production facility. This role focuses on electrical infrastructure projects , particularly medium voltage systems (6kV-20kV) , and plays a key part in ensuring electrical safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for electrical systems within the facility.
Fulfil VEFK responsibilities , overseeing electrical safety and regulatory compliance.
Lead and manage electrical infrastructure projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
Drive initiatives such as a €1M LED retrofit project.
Collaborate across departments and supervise a team of 3 E&I specialists.
Provide hands-on technical support in a live production environment.
Act as a technical authority (not a people manager).

Candidate Profile

Location: Ideally based near Hannover.
Language: Fluent in German.
Experience:
- Strong background in industrial production environments.
- Proven expertise in medium voltage systems (not low-voltage or automation).
- Deep understanding of electrical regulations and theoretical frameworks.
- VEFK certification or equivalent experience in electrical responsibility.
- German language is necessary (B2 Level)
